Last minute cruise deals are sometimes talked about like they're the secret you've missed out on which will soon have you paying less than everyone else. This premise is incredibly flawed, in part because of the way many potential cruisers price shop, but also because of how the cruise industry has changed over the last twenty years. In better understanding the truth behind sites promising last minute deals, and the reason there aren't many to be had (at least in the way many think), you might just find the deal you're looking for...
When it comes to cruising, we think that longer is better. Recently though we enjoyed the newly refurbished Norwegian Sky for a three night sailing, and it reminded us that sometimes a weekend getaway on a great ship is just what the doctor ordered. Ric and Billy talk about their staterooms, the various packages NCL offers, as well as dining, drinking, and enjoying all that Norwegian Sky and Great Stirrup Cay has to offer.
The last day of a cruise can be kind of a bummer, but I did my best to keep my head up and enjoy, especially since we were visiting Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's private island. I've been coming here since I was a baby, but it's been about ten years, so I was excited to see how things had changed. We enjoyed a beautiful day, tried out some new restaurants on the ship, and got entirely too much sun...
