A few months ago Princess Cruises ran a sale called "Best Sale Ever" where many sailings included the option to bundle Wi-Fi, drinks, and gratuities with your fare - at significant savings compared to booking these things independent of your fare. The difference with this promotion from Princess is not restricting these sales to certain room types, they're not just for a small number of sailings, and, the benefits are so good that it may make sense even for people not super excited about drinks and WiFi - we did the math...
Usually when new ships come out it means paying a premium to sail on them. While casually browsing though, we found that the March 8 Wester Caribbean Sky Princess sailing has insides starting at just $569 per person. That's $81 per person per night for a new ship on a premium line.
