Yes, you can cancel a United flight on the same day, but the policy varies:

·         Same-Day Cancellation: Fees may apply unless you have Premier status.

·         Same-Day Change: You may be able to switch to another flight (within 24 hours) for a reduced fee or for free with elite status.
