I received a call from 18082348198 or 1-808-206-0958 stating they are robbinhood fraud department and my card has been compromised and asked if i used my card in Alabama today i said no. They said they would need to send me a new card,i said ok. They said to confirm your billing postal code is … i said correct. They then said the email we have on file is … i said correct. They responded asking me for my full card number which i gave them not thinking in the moment. Then they asked for the expiration date and i hung up. They called back and said they need that information to shut the card off. I said your full of sh** you don't need that information to shut the card off. Then when i got off the phone i googled the number and it came up a number for robbinhood. So was this legit? X1 states they will never call you to request account information or to alert you of suspicious activity. All of our notifications of suspected fraud are by email, text, and push notification. I have contact X1 go figure they are not available now and will respond within 1 business day. I will keep the card locked until i hear back from them.
